Automotive Detailer / Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking responsible, dedicated people to join its team as full-time Automotive Detailers. This position pays $16 / hour based on a 40 hour work week and is located at 75 Madison Street Worcester, MA 01608.

The available schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm each day, for 40 hours per week.

As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will help uphold cleanliness standards in the industry. You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors. Vehicles may include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; and verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; and inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; and pull vehicles out of the prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain the overall appearance of the site, including general cleaning of the interior and exteriors of branch locations. Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on the driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
