Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as Automotive Detailers. This position pays $16.50 per hour and is located at 320 East Michigan Avenue, Ypsilanti MI 48198.

Part-time schedule available:

• Monday: 7:30am - 6pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am - 6pm
• Friday: 7:30am - 6pm

We are dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will lead our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior (cars of different sizes, vans, and trucks)
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns
• Report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to/from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning of branch interiors and exteriors
• Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot, and other related tasks

Additional Responsibilities:

• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
