About the role

Mall Of Georgia Mazda Car Detailer Location: 3546 Hwy 20, Buford, Georgia 30519

Responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used cars.

Responsibilities

• Cleans interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Waxes and buffs exterior of vehicles.
• Vacuums and cleans vehicle upholstery.
• Cleans engine.
• Paints engine.
• Applies touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Participates in required training.
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
• Follows safeguards rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the company's core values.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Observes all federal, state, local and company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: GED, High School Diploma, Associate Degree, Bachelor Degree, Master Degree, Doctorate Degree.
• Field of Study/Work Experience: Accounting, Automotive, Business, Human Resources, Information Technology.
• Desired Work Experience: Up to 3 years, 3-5 years, 5+ years.
• Previous detailing experience is desired.
• Ability to operate equipment to perform detailing functions.
• Certificates and Licenses: Valid Driver's License, Automobile Salesperson License.
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
• Communication Skills: Ability to understand and follow instructions; Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Attendance Expectations: Regular and predictable attendance required; shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Environment Demands: Regular exposure to wet and outdoor weather conditions; primary work in dealership detailing area but may extend indoors and outdoors; frequent movement in and out of cars; contact with vehicle cleaning and painting products.
• Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions; deal with standardized situations.
