About the role

Responsibilities

• Follow proper procedures established by Serra Gaylord to perform complete vehicle detailing.
• Wash vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down door jambs.
• Apply wax to the auto body and wipe or buff the surface.
• Vacuum interiors of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Clean engine and engine compartments with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials that normal procedures do not remove, using judgment and following product manufacturer's recommendations.
• Restore appearance of engine areas, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces using touch-up paint, dyes, and other materials.
• Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Ensure proper stickers are displayed in the vehicle's window.
• Keep the work area neat and clean.
• Operate all tools and equipment safely.
• Prepare and apply automotive touch-up paint to vehicles.
• Shuttle new and used vehicles to appropriate car lots.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks; manual dexterity.
• Ability to multitask.
