About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join the team as a Part Time Automotive Detailer. The position pays $16 / hr and is located at 9400 TROOST AVE KANSAS CITY, MO 64131.

• Available schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm

The company is dedicated to upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry. As an Auto Detailer and Car Washer, you will support its commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

You will wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet the cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors. Vehicles may include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights; inspect windshields for damage; factory reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found; verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add fluids as needed; check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth; inspect vehicle exteriors for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle, windshield, or tire damage; pull vehicles out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed. May transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain the overall site appearance, including general cleaning of the interior and exterior of branch locations. Site appearance responsibilities include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and any other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch location.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation and/or at-fault accidents on the driving record within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol-related conviction on the driving record in the past 3 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by the company for this position now or in the future.
