Fleet Support Engineer - Chassis
Join us onsite in Foster City, CA, as a Fleet Support Engineer focusing on chassis systems, working 5 days a week in the office. You will be the key expert ensuring the reliability and uptime of our advanced fleet, tackling technical challenges related to brakes, steering, suspension, and chassis control. This role demands thorough troubleshooting, real-time escalation management, and data analysis to drive solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Acting as the technical lead for real-time chassis issues
- Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
- Developing troubleshooting guides for field technicians
- Validating chassis system operations and performing functional checks
- Analyzing data to preempt issues
- Availability for night/weekend shifts and occasional travel
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles with a chassis focus
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- Expertise in chassis components and electrical schematics
- Experience with UDS debugging and firmware validation
Preferred:
- 3+ years in embedded firmware validation
- Skilled with CAN Architecture tools
- Knowledge of automotive safety-critical components and electric vehicle tech
