Automotive Finance Manager

About the role

Northport Motors is looking for an experienced Automotive Finance Manager to join our management team.

We are a busy and growing store, and are looking for someone who can take ownership of F&I, help structure and desk deals, coach the sales team, improve finance and product penetration, and protect dealership gross.

This is a hands-on management role with significant earning potential for a strong performer.

Responsibilities

• Structure and submit automotive finance deals
• Present financing, service contracts, and F&I products
• Work directly with lenders and manage approvals/stipulations
• Desk and negotiate retail transactions
• Help protect and increase front-end gross
• Improve finance and F&I product penetration
• Coach and support the sales team
• Ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and funded promptly
• Assist ownership with overall sales department performance

Requirements

• Previous automotive F&I or finance management experience
• Strong knowledge of automotive lending and deal structure
• Proven F&I sales and closing ability
• Comfortable working with prime and non-prime lenders
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Sales management or desking experience preferred
• Organized, accountable, and performance-driven
• Franchise and independent dealership experience are both welcome.

Strong six-figure earning potential.

Our target is to continue grow already strong product penetration, backend grosses, higher finance penetration, and maintain strong front-end gross retention.

We are looking for someone who wants to help run and improve a department, not simply process paperwork.
