Job Opportunity: Automotive HIL Engineer – dSPACE

Join our team in Mossville, IL, as a hands-on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) Engineer specializing in dSPACE systems. You will develop and validate real-time simulation environments to support ECU and embedded software testing. Ideal candidates have deep experience with MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE platforms (SCALEXIO, MicroAutoBox), and automation scripting with Python or C/C++. Work alongside software, controls, and validation teams to optimize system performance and ensure high-quality automotive solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain HiL models using MATLAB/Simulink
  • Configure and integrate dSPACE HiL platforms
  • Automate testing using Python and dSPACE tools
  • Design wiring and interface setups
  • Troubleshoot hardware & software issues

Preferred Skills:

  • Automotive domain experience (OEM or Tier-1)
  • Knowledge of EV/Hybrid systems
