About the role

DriveYield AI is seeking experienced automotive industry professionals to help shape its initial offering and guide its market entry. The company is building AI-powered solutions to help dealership owners, operators, and management teams improve customer experience, operating performance, and profitability—from individual dealerships to entire dealer groups.

The approach builds on investments dealerships have already made in dealer management systems, CRM, inventory management, and service platforms. DriveYield is being developed as an intelligence overlay that connects information across these systems, identifies emerging opportunities and risks, and helps teams take measurable action.

Working with PX42 Consulting, dealership practitioners, and industry experts, DriveYield is bringing enterprise AI experience and predictive analytics to the practical challenges of automotive retail. Its approach starts with understanding each dealership’s AI readiness, establishing meaningful business KPIs, and developing a roadmap tied to economic value.

DriveYield is assembling a select group of advisors who understand how dealerships operate and where technology can make a meaningful difference. This is an opportunity to influence an early-stage company’s product priorities, customer experience, and go-to-market strategy.

Advisory engagement: This is an advisory opportunity. Scope, time commitment, and compensation arrangements will be discussed individually and agreed upon before an engagement begins.

Responsibilities

Advisors will help validate business problems, prioritize use cases, and define what successful outcomes look like for dealership teams. Depending on their experience and interests, their involvement may include:

• Reviewing product concepts and demonstrations.
• Shaping readiness assessments and pilot programs.
• Advising on adoption, workflow design, and economic value.

DriveYield also welcomes perspectives on how owners and executives should evaluate business health across a dealer group, with the ability to understand performance at the individual dealership and department level. Where appropriate, advisors may help build relationships with prospective pilot customers, industry partners, and other experts.

Requirements

DriveYield welcomes advisors with depth in one or more of these areas:

• Dealership ownership, general management, or multi-location dealer group operations.
• BDC, Internet sales, lead management, and customer engagement.
• Inventory acquisition, merchandising, pricing, and reconditioning.
• Fixed operations, service retention, and parts management.
• Dealership finance, F&I, profitability, and capital allocation.
• Automotive technology, DMS and CRM platforms, integrations, or vendor partnerships.

You bring firsthand automotive retail experience, practical judgment, and a clear understanding of dealership economics. You can distinguish an interesting technology demonstration from a solution that employees will use and owners will value.

You are comfortable offering candid feedback, challenging assumptions, and collaborating with an early-stage team. Technical AI expertise is welcome but not required. DriveYield particularly values people who can explain where existing processes break down, why previous solutions have fallen short, and what meaningful improvement would require.
