Position Summary
Lead and coordinate new product launches in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment, ensuring production readiness, cross-functional alignment, and flawless execution of APQP and PPAP requirements. Take charge from program award to production ramp-up while meeting customer timing, cost, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage launch schedules, milestones, and deliverables
- Coordinate teams: Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations
- Serve as primary plant interface for OEM and customer launch teams
- Lead APQP deliverables, PPAP activities, and capacity validation
- Oversee production equipment installation and manufacturing process validation
- Collaborate with suppliers and support customer launch reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and maximize profitability
Qualifications
- 3+ years in automotive manufacturing or Tier 1 supplier
- Expertise in APQP, PPAP, and core automotive tools
- Proven project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
