The Automotive Lot Attendant is responsible for managing the used vehicle lot by organizing, moving, and preparing vehicles, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for inventory ready for delivery. This role reports to the Sales Manager and Lot Supervisor with limited customer interaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Positioning and moving vehicles across the lot
- Maintaining organized vehicle placement and inventory
- Cleaning and preparing vehicles for display and delivery
- Managing vehicle keys securely
- Monitoring and refueling fuel levels
- Ensuring lot safety and practicing safe vehicle handling
- Assisting with customer delivery preparations
Qualifications:
- Entry-level experience in automotive lot operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred skills: Vehicle handling, inventory management, basic vehicle inspection, safe driving, customer service, attention to detail, effective time management, and clear communication.
