Automotive Marketing Manager - ADL
Join Aluminum Dynamics (ADL) as the key commercial liaison for the automotive sector, working directly with OEMs, stampers, and service centers. This pivotal customer-facing position involves driving product promotion and sales, managing pricing and forecasting, negotiating contracts, and supporting quality and sustainability initiatives across North America, Europe, and Japan. Candidates should have 3+ years experience in automotive aluminum or steel flat rolled markets, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel frequently. Relocate to the Detroit area and be part of a dynamic team prioritizing growth and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead promotion and sales activities within the assigned territory
- Manage commercial activities including pricing, rebates, and forecasting
- Build strong relationships with automotive OEMs and internal teams
- Support quality and claim resolution efforts
- Participate in product development and customer visits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering or business
- Proven outside sales experience (3+ years preferred)
- Experience with global automotive OEMs
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively (30-60%) internationally
