Join a busy and professional collision repair shop as an experienced Automotive Painter. You'll independently prepare, match, mix, and apply automotive paint to produce high-quality factory-finish results consistently.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles and parts for painting including sanding, masking, priming, and sealing
- Mix and match paint colors accurately
- Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and specialty finishes
- Blend panels for seamless color matching
- Inspect and correct imperfections
- Maintain paint booth and equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and safety requirements
- Collaborate efficiently with body technicians and management
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of automotive painting experience preferred
- Strong color-matching and blending skills
- Experience with waterborne paint systems preferred
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- I-CAR or paint-manufacturer certification is a plus
