Automotive Parts Clerk

Keene Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is hiring a Parts Clerk to join our dynamic team in Jarrettsville, MD. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and distributing automotive parts while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring technicians have the necessary components to complete repairs efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify parts against invoices and purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damaged items.
• Stock, label, and organize automotive parts in designated storage areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update parts management systems as needed.
• Pull and stage parts for service technicians and internal department requests.
• Pick, pack, and prepare parts for delivery or transfer between departments or locations.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock is low or replenishment is needed.
• Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliation.
• Process returned parts and coordinate restocking or returns to vendors.
• Keep the parts storage area clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with general administrative duties, including filing invoices, entering data, and maintaining inventory documentation.
• Work closely with parts department staff, service technicians, and other dealership personnel to support efficient operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive parts, inventory control, warehousing, or a related field is a plus.
• Must have computer proficiency.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
