About the role
Elgin Volkswagen is in search of a qualified Porter to assist in the daily maintenance of the new and used car inventory. This is a full-time position, and your pay is commensurate with your work history.
Responsibilities
- Keeps new and used vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager/service manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
- Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.
- Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
- Makes key tags for vehicles.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
