Automotive Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting the right vehicle for their needs.
• Build relationships and create lifelong customers.
• Follow up on internet, phone, and showroom leads.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and technology.
• Negotiate and close sales professionally and ethically.
• Meet and exceed personal sales goals.

Requirements

• Previous sales experience required; automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to follow a sales process and close business.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver's license.
• Good driving record is a must.
• Honest and of high integrity.
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday.
• Outgoing with a friendly personality, especially while handling objections.
• Good sales and/or customer service track record.
• Possess strong communication skills.
• Persistent, competitive, and have a good work ethic.
• Focus on the customer's experience to enhance dealership and personal sales.
• Computer literate and have basic math skills.
