Automotive Sales Manager

At Avon Lake Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership, we're different and just getting started! As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive continued success. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside the dealership's new owners and grow as we grow!

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales department. This includes managing a team of sales professionals, developing effective sales strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting or exceeding dealership sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a sales team.
• Take TOs (turnovers) to assist sales consultants in closing deals and improving conversion rates.
• Ensure CRM tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to meet dealership objectives.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for sales staff.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Previous experience with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram brands is a strong plus.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and dealership software (e.g., Tekion, Dealertrack, VinSolutions).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
