About the role
Greenway Automotive Group is seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to join the team at Toyota of Gadsden in Gadsden, Alabama.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with automotive sales experience, a passion for developing sales professionals, and the ability to drive dealership performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly sales goals
- Monitor sales performance, customer satisfaction, and dealership profitability
- Assist sales associates with customer interactions, negotiations, and closing deals
- Develop strategies to increase vehicle sales and improve department performance
- Manage incoming leads and ensure timely customer follow-up
- Work with the finance department to facilitate a smooth sales process
- Monitor inventory and assist with vehicle merchandising and pricing strategies
- Recruit, train, and develop sales associates
- Ensure the sales team follows dealership policies and procedures
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve concerns professionally
- Review sales reports and identify opportunities for improvement
- Promote a positive, professional, and customer-focused dealership culture
Requirements
- Previous automotive sales experience required
- Previous automotive sales management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to motivate a team and achieve sales targets
- Knowledge of automotive sales processes, inventory management, and dealership operations
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze sales performance and develop improvement strategies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
