About the role
Group 1 Acura Southwest Houston is seeking motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Professionals to join its sales team. This opportunity is for individuals who are passionate about customer service, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and want to build a long-term career in automotive sales.
No prior automotive sales experience is required. Paid training and the opportunity to earn while you learn are provided.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate vehicles by explaining features, benefits, and warranties; conduct test drives and compare competitive models.
- Prospect daily for new customers and maintain relationships with previous buyers.
- Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
- Implement follow-up systems to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Stay informed on product updates, inventory, and accessories to better serve customers.
- Set and achieve personal sales goals aligned with dealership standards.
Requirements
- Customer-facing sales experience required; automotive experience is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Experience handling phone leads and Internet inquiries is a strong plus.
- Strong desire to succeed in a commission-driven, performance-based environment.
- Positive attitude with a high-energy personality.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver license in the state that you will work and a good driving record.
