Automotive Technical Instructor
Join 22nd Century Technologies, Inc., as an Automotive Technical Instructor specializing in training and development across vehicle assembly plants in the US, Canada, and Mexico. This role involves designing and delivering manufacturing and technical launch training, supporting OEM plants with hands-on and consultative expertise. Ideal candidates have deep automotive diagnostic knowledge, instructional design skills, and the flexibility for extensive travel up to 75%. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site training and technical support at OEM vehicle assembly plants.
- Develop professional training materials including vehicle assembly and electrical systems.
- Assist in root cause analysis and improve assembly efficiency.
- Participate in launch meetings and coordinate with engineering and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years relevant automotive instructional or technical experience.
- Proficient in digital multimeter, diagnostic tools, and reading electrical schematics.
- Able to work independently with strong presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
Education: Associate's degree or certificate in Automotive Technology or related fields preferred. High school diploma with extensive experience also considered.
Work Environment: Combination of classroom and plant floor settings, with necessary personal protective equipment.
