Position: Feature Assurance Engineer (FAE) - Dearborn, MI
Join our team as an Automotive Validation Engineer responsible for leading comprehensive feature validation, signoff, and quality assurance throughout the product lifecycle. Collaborate with feature system engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure all features meet safety, cybersecurity, performance, and regulatory standards before launch. Take ownership of validation strategy, issue resolution, and continuous testing process improvements to drive program success and customer satisfaction.
Key Highlights:
- Lead milestone-based feature validation including functional, safety (ISO 26262), cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute detailed test strategies covering various environments (Breadboard, HiL, vehicle).
- Experience with validation tools, defect tracking (JIRA), and managing complex automotive features.
Ideal background includes a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Automotive, Computer Science) and proven experience in automotive embedded systems validation.
