Business Development Director — Automotive
Join a leading global technology and engineering firm as a Business Development Director to drive growth in IoT and Digital Engineering within the Detroit automotive ecosystem. Work closely with senior leaders at Detroit Three OEMs and Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers to close large transformation projects in software-defined vehicles, digital engineering, manufacturing modernization, and connected services.
What You'll Do:
- Lead sales of engineering and IoT solutions targeting major automotive manufacturers and suppliers.
- Manage full sales cycles to secure new business and large deals.
- Build strong client partnerships and represent the company at industry events.
Qualifications:
- 13+ years industry experience, with 5+ years in business development.
- Deep knowledge of Detroit automotive ecosystem.
- Proven ability in managing complex multi-million-dollar deals.
Competitive base salary with a 25% performance bonus and significant upside. Must be Detroit-based or willing to relocate with US work authorization.
