Car Sales Automotive Detailer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $15 / hour and is located at 18400 US-59 Houston, TX 77338. The schedule is Monday to Saturday, 9:00am-6:00pm, and candidates must be able to work Monday and Saturday. The off day will be Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

The company offers extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, as well as travel management and other transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare various vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans to meet cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
• Clean the interior, exterior, and refurbish used vehicles to prepare for sale.
• Polish, wax, and buff exteriors of vehicles.
• Vacuum interiors including floors, seats, ashtrays, and trunks.
• Shampoo and clean carpets, floor mats, and upholstery.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Use detailing methods such as wet sanding and clay bar as needed.
• Apply engine degreaser.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Exhibit professional appearance and comply with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Adhere to local environmental regulations.
• Work performed outside in all types of weather and temperatures and in a typical office environment.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without needing work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, with at least one of these falling off within 12 months of employment.
• No drug or alcohol-related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years.
• At least 12 consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience in the last 5 years.
• Willing to accept $15.00/hour.
• Live within 15 miles of the posted address.
