Roadmaster Drivers School is hiring Class A CDL instructors at many of its Truck Driving Schools nationwide. The school is hiring CDL instructors with 3 years of CDL driving experience. Use your CDL-A driving experience and let Roadmaster train you to become a CDL driving instructor.

Roadmaster’s purpose is to provide cost-effective, quality CDL training for future generations of safe truck drivers. Roadmaster’s Class A CDL Training Program provides students with the skills to get a Class A CDL and become eligible for entry-level commercial driver positions. Roadmaster CDL instructors provide hands-on, real-life training for students pursuing a Class A CDL. Safe commercial truck drivers interested in a long-term career training the next generation of commercial truck drivers are invited to consider this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate assigned driving operations for students on a regular basis.
• Oversee the safe operation and use of equipment when students are using it, ensuring company policy and standards are followed.
• Supervise all assigned trainees and complete the necessary documentation for each person, such as student attendance forms and training records.
• Provide in-person daily instruction to students in Full Pre-Trip Inspection, Basic Control Skills, and Road Driving.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL License.
• 3 years of verifiable OTR tractor-trailer experience.
• Clean MVR and background.
• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrable intellectual and leadership abilities.
• Ability to perform duties of over-the-road, basic skills, and classroom instruction as assigned.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable work attendance is a must.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as required by applicable state regulations.
