Director/Principal Level Customer Project Engineer - Automotive Software Platform

Join us as a Director/Principal Customer Project Engineer overseeing automotive software projects from concept to completion. Liaise directly with OEM engineering executives and Qualcomm leadership, lead technical aspects across multiple programs, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery. This role demands a deep understanding of automotive architecture, strong leadership, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical projects and customer relationships
  • Lead and synchronize engineering teams
  • Drive technical solutions based on Qualcomm's product portfolio
  • Ensure adherence to automotive safety and quality standards
  • Mentor cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree + 8 years, Master's + 7 years, or PhD + 6 years in Engineering or related
  • Extensive experience in software engineering and project management
  • Strong automotive systems knowledge and safety standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Willingness to travel
