Position Overview
Lead the quality function for a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, managing a team of 35-40 professionals. This role reports directly to the North America COO and is based in the Chicago suburbs, with relocation assistance available.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF standards
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain a high-quality culture
- Oversee audits, quality management systems, and training programs
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to meet customer expectations
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 10-15 years in manufacturing engineering/quality with 5+ years leadership
- Automotive industry experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and business acumen
- Ability to travel 25-35%
