What you'll do:
- Support customers with technical expertise during pre-sales and development phases
- Guide processor IP integration, system architecture, and software toolchain adoption
- Drive design-in activities to secure CPU IP licensing and custom silicon design wins
- Provide solutions enabling flexibility, performance, safety (ASIL), and cost optimization
- Troubleshoot complex hardware/software challenges with customers and internal teams
- Collaborate with sales and business development to close opportunities
- Engage ecosystem partners and represent GF in industry events
Required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in engineering
- 5-10+ years in field or applications engineering related to semiconductors/automotive
- Strong knowledge of automotive electronics, ADAS, SoC/ASIC development
- Excellent customer-facing communication and debugging skills
- Fluent in English (C1 proficiency)
Preferred:
- Experience with RISC-V, functional safety standards (ISO 26262), and European automotive markets
