Lead Machine Builder – Automotive Automation
Join our Auburn Hills, MI team as a Lead Machine Builder! Lead the build of small automotive sub-assemblies and manage crews of 10+. Use your skills in blueprint analysis, machining, welding, and assembly to deliver high-quality results. Engage in continuous improvement through Kaizen events and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Bring your experience in machine tools, MIG welding, and leadership to an exciting automotive role.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading assembly of automotive sub-assemblies
- Managing teams and materials
- Using machining tools (drilling, tapping, lathe, Bridgeport)
- Conducting quality checks and testing
- Participating in cost estimation and process improvements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Leadership experience managing crews
- Knowledge in mechanics, machining, welding, and safety procedures
- Active Driver's License required
