Inside the Role
- Hands-on training by a certified Journeyman on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment repair.
- Duties include repair and maintenance of machine tools like CNC Machining Centers and various plant equipment.
- Apprentices must complete formal classroom training within an 8000-hour, four-year apprenticeship period.
What We Offer
- Apprentices work across all shifts with performance reviews and potential promotion to journeyman pay rate.
- Use of diverse tools and equipment such as power tools, forklifts, welders, and hydraulic presses.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Successful completion of ACCUPLACER Exams and passing RISE Tier 1 Exam (Math and English).
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. and passing pre-employment screenings.
Location
- Based at Gastonia Parts Plant, NC (no relocation assistance).
