Job Description
Inside the Role
Comprehensive hands-on training provided by a certified Journeyman covering electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment repair. Responsibilities include maintaining a wide range of machine tools and auxiliary plant equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, cleaning, painting, and yard work.
Training & Requirements
- Formal classroom maintenance training within a four-year apprenticeship.
- Use of diverse tools such as hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, and welding equipment.
- Probation of 2000 hours with performance reviews.
- Must work across all three shifts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must pass RISE Tier 1 Exams (Math & English) and pre-employment screenings.
- Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
Location & Schedule
- Onsite position at Gastonia Parts Plant.
- No relocation assistance.
