Job Overview
Join Creative Liquid Coatings as a Manufacturing Engineer focused on automotive assembly processes. Collaborate across departments to support new business launches, continuous improvement, and quality enhancements. Directly report to the Engineering Manager while driving efficiency, tooling innovation, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve key assembly KPIs like OEE, Downtime, and Scrap.
- Develop and manage APQP deliverables including BOM, PFMEA, and work instructions.
- Lead tooling procurement, pre-production builds, and operator training.
- Drive continuous improvements and root cause analysis for quality issues.
- Keep updated on industry trends, attending events and benchmarking.
- Travel as required and perform other related duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related experience.
- Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality systems, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
Work Environment
- Mix of office and manufacturing floor settings.
- Exposure to moderate noise, moving parts, airborne particles, and fumes.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
