We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer with automotive manufacturing experience, especially those familiar with Ford Standards. Work on programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and supporting industrial automation systems in a fast-paced automotive production environment based in Flat Rock, Michigan. You will handle Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation PLCs, support continuous improvement activities, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, debug, and troubleshoot PLC programs for automotive manufacturing equipment.
  • Support commissioning, validation, and production launch activities.
  • Work with Ford-specific controls and manufacturing requirements.
  • Troubleshoot industrial automation, electrical systems, and HMI configurations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and manufacturers to optimize production.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a PLC Programmer or Controls Engineer.
  • Mandatory exposure to Ford Standards.
  • Expertise with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Automation platforms.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting, commissioning, and hands-on controls support.
  • Ability to work onsite for the 5-month contract duration.
