Job Description
East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. The role is highly visible, reports to the Plant Manager, and is a key member of the plant leadership team.
About the role
- Ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
- Design Quality systems and product audits.
- Lead a 10-member Quality team.
- The role involves regular interaction with customers.
- The environment is fast-paced, and Quality is held to a high standard.
Requirements
- BS degree in a technical discipline.
- At least 5+ years of prior experience in a Quality Manager role.
- Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.
