Quality Manager Opportunity in Automotive Manufacturing
Join a fast-paced, established manufacturer as a Quality Manager leading a high-performance team. Bring your expertise with IATF 16949 and automotive quality systems to maintain compliance, lead root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement. You'll be hands-on about 20% of the time, mentoring staff, managing customer issues, and aligning quality with business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead plant quality and audit programs
- Manage QMS & IATF 16949 compliance
- Drive root cause analysis & corrective actions
- Support APQP process and documentation
- Implement continuous improvement & training
- Deliver executive metrics & operational reviews
Requirements:
- High school diploma (post-secondary preferred)
- Automotive supplier quality experience
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949
- Proficient in formal problem solving and blueprint reading
- Excellent math and communication skills
- Microsoft Office expertise, especially Excel
Preferred but not required:
- IATF Certified Internal Auditor
- Quality certifications
- Supervisory experience
