About the role
Quality Manager (Automotive). East TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager. This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
- Location: Knoxville, TN
- Reports to the Plant Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
- Design Quality systems and product audits.
- Lead a 10-member Quality team.
- Regularly interact with customers.
Requirements
- BS degree in a technical discipline.
- At least 5+ years prior experience in a Quality Manager role.
- Experience in Automotive Quality systems is ideal.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of 8D, 5Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis is highly important.
Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
- Compensation package is highly competitive with strong benefits package.
