R&D Financial Analyst

About the role

Forvia Hella is seeking its next great R&D Controlling/R&D Financial Analyst to join our team. The primary function of this role will be to provide financial analysis on program and divisional initiatives. This individual will be joining a well established and growing global team that is helping to move the automotive market forward.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and controlling activities SAP and Business Warehouse (headcount, CAPEX, R&D expenses/capitalization)
• Inter-company reconciliation, tracking of customer reimbursements, customer owned tooling
• Support month-end/quarterly/year-end closing activities in the area of responsibility
• Support for project cost planning/cost center planning/capital investment planning
• Analyze budget/forecast vs. actual deviation to facilitate program teams to meet their targets
• Assist in external audit preparation, tax preparation, customer claims
• Responsible for daily tasks as maintaining master data, costing, and procurement workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years of experience as an analyst role
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Automotive/Mobility industry experience
• Analytical skills, good communication and independent working
• Strong Microsoft Office/Excel skills
• Preferred: Experience with SAP, SAP Business Warehouse
