Key Responsibilities
- Conduct binary reverse engineering of automotive ECU/TCU/PCM firmware
- Master UDS, J1939, OEM-specific protocol communication stacks
- Analyze CAN logs and use leading sniffer tools
- Collaborate on embedded firmware problem-solving and secure bootloaders
Requirements
- 7+ years in automotive software, focusing on aftermarket or performance tuning
- OEM diagnostic expertise (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris)
- Proficient with CAN bus, UDS, J1939, OBD-II, and hardware interfaces
- Skilled in ECU firmware formats and checksum calculations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
