Role Overview

Seeking a hands-on senior "Developer-Hacker" skilled in low-level vehicle system analysis and high-level cloud C# development. Architect cloud features, process ECU binaries, and perform advanced checksum validations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reverse engineer ECU firmware and calculate custom checksums
  • Master communication protocols UDS, J1939, and OEM-specific stacks
  • Analyze CAN bus traffic with tools like Vehicle Spy and PCAN
  • Collaborate on firmware and secure bootloader challenges

Requirements:

  • 7+ years in automotive software, aftermarket or performance tuning
  • Expertise with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris diagnostic protocols
  • In-depth CAN, UDS, J1939, OBD-II knowledge and hardware proficiency
  • Skilled with ECU firmware formats and disassemblers
  • Must reside in the U.S. for collaboration
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
