Role Overview

As a Senior Developer-Hacker, you will architect cloud services interacting with vehicle control modules, perform ECU binary analysis, checksum validation, and handle communication protocols like UDS, J1939, and CAN. You’ll collaborate with embedded developers to enhance firmware and secure bootloaders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in automotive software engineering, especially aftermarket or performance tuning.
  • Expertise in OEM diagnostic protocols (Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris).
  • Proficiency with CAN bus, diagnostic standards, and hardware interfaces like PCAN or Kvaser.
  • Skilled in ECU firmware formats, reverse engineering, and disassembly tools.
  • Must be US-based for optimal collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
