Role Overview

Seeking a senior Developer-Hacker skilled in low-level ECU binary analysis and high-level cloud-based C# services. Architect cloud features that interact with vehicle modules, firmware binaries, and checksum validations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform binary reverse engineering and custom checksum calculations.
  • Troubleshoot UDS, J1939, and OEM vehicle protocols.
  • Analyze CAN traffic using tools like Vehicle Spy and PCAN.
  • Collaborate on firmware development and secure bootloaders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in automotive software, especially aftermarket/performance tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with Ford, GM, Stellantis, Polaris protocols.
  • Proficient in CAN, UDS, J1939, OBD-II standards and hardware interfaces.
  • Skilled in disassemblers (OlyDBG, Ida Pro) and manual checksum calculations.
  • US-based for real-time collaboration.
  • Bachelor’s in CS, EE, or equivalent automotive reverse engineering experience.
