This position is responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day retail automotive operations of a JAM Best One location, while providing support to commercial operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team development, financial performance, customer satisfaction, operational processes, inventory, facility appearance, and workplace safety.
• Develop and execute business strategies that support sales growth, profitability, employee development, and an outstanding customer experience.
• Lead by example, communicate effectively, solve problems proactively, and create a positive, productive work environment.

Requirements

• Must have 3+ years of successful auto center management experience.
• Preferred 1 year of commercial automotive experience.
• Must have a proven track record of team development, training and customer relations.
• Must have a solid understanding of all products and services provided by JAM Best One Tires and Service.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have strong computer skills regarding: Microsoft Office, internet, and software navigation.
• Experience with MaddenCo software preferred but not required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field is highly desirable.
• Must have a current valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects weighing 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Must have ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards, which requires substantial repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Must be able to regularly stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time, and work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position.
