Sales Representative – Automotive Accessories

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Sales Representative to build relationships with dealerships and grow accessory sales. In this role, you will visit dealerships, learn their needs, introduce customization options, and encourage sales managers to equip inventory vehicles with our accessories before they sell—a process known as “preloading.”

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, takes initiative, and is interested in automotive products and customization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealership sales managers and staff.
• Promote aftermarket accessories, including sunroofs, leather interiors, mobile electronics, and safety features.
• Work with dealership sales managers to identify vehicles suitable for accessory preloads.
• Explain product features, benefits, and pricing clearly and accurately.
• Identify opportunities to upsell accessories that meet dealership and customer needs.
• Provide responsive customer service and follow up on questions, requests, and sales opportunities.
• Plan dealership visits and organize routes, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, orders, schedules, and customer communications.
• Coordinate with the installation team to support timely service and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with shop activities as needed and contribute to a cooperative team environment.

Requirements

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Experience in sales, retail, account management, or building customer relationships.
• Ability to explain product benefits, recognize sales opportunities, and recommend appropriate upgrades.
• Basic math skills for accurate pricing and sales calculations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage appointments and priorities independently.
• A proactive approach, dependable follow-through, and professional conduct.
• Interest in automotive accessories and a willingness to learn about our products and installation services.
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to drive between dealership locations.
• Must be over 21 and have a clean driving record with no tickets or accidents.

Benefits

• $23.00 per hour, plus commission on all preload units.
