Security Supervisor - Automotive Plant

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor in Montgomery, Alabama.

About the role

The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer site. They will act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. The role includes supervising staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

• Title: Security Shift Supervisor - Unarmed Sergeant
• Site Location: Montgomery, Alabama
• Starting Base Pay: $24.61 per hour
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
• Documentation required to confirm law enforcement, corrections, or military experience
• Workdays Available: All
• Shifts Available:
  • 1:15 PM - 9:45 PM
  • 9:15 PM - 5:45 AM

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public professionally
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
• Ability to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Ability to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions

Driving Positions

• Valid Driver's License with at least one year of driving experience
• Clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months)
• Minimum level of insurance as required by company policy
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle

Additional conditions

• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug/alcohol test
• Possible requirement to pass Drivers Record check
• Intermediate computer skills to use innovative, wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
