Senior Automotive Quality Manager - Penang, Malaysia
Join our team as a Senior Staff Automotive Quality Engineer responsible for driving the Automotive Quality Operating System (QOS) to achieve zero defects in high-voltage automotive integrated circuit products. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to manage qualifications, audits, PPAP documentation, and resolve customer quality issues. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of semiconductor automotive market experience, with expertise in IATF-16949, ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and ISO 9001 standards. Extensive international travel anticipated.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate customer quality expectations and fit-for-use standards
- Resolve product quality and service issues promptly
- Manage compliance and safety per ISO 26262
- Drive corrective/preventive actions and support customer audits
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Proven track record in semiconductor automotive quality engineering
