As we continue expanding across North America and Mexico, we are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth in the automotive sector and establish Luxinar as the preferred partner for VIN marking and industrial laser solutions.

This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven business development professional who thrives on opening new markets, building strategic relationships, and closing complex capital equipment and automation sales.

About the role

The role covers North America, including the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Preferred location: Michigan or a major automotive hub in Mexico. Regional travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and business development activities throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
• Develop relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, manufacturing engineering teams, and purchasing organizations.
• Build a strong network of systems integrators, automation providers, and machine builders.
• Identify opportunities early in the planning process and drive projects through specification, proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
• Develop and execute strategic growth plans focused on automotive traceability, VIN marking, and related industrial manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to align customer requirements with innovative laser solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience selling automotive capital equipment, automation, industrial technology, laser systems, machine vision, traceability solutions, or manufacturing technologies.
• Proven success developing new markets and creating greenfield business opportunities.
• Demonstrated experience selling through both direct channels and partner networks, including system integrators and OEM machine builders.
• Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, production automation, and traceability requirements.
• Ability to influence stakeholders from the plant floor to the executive suite, including manufacturing engineering, quality, operations, and procurement leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• English fluency required; Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
