Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Part-Time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $15/hour and is located at 1235 E Tallmadge Ave Akron, OH.

Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands. It is the largest and fastest growing privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America.

The Automotive Detailer and Car Washer role requires upholding the highest cleanliness standards in the industry to ensure the health and safety of everyone.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean, and dry exteriors of vehicles including cars, vans, and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
• Check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
• Fuel and stage vehicles
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damages
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including interior and exterior cleaning of branch locations
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, training, and goal setting
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
