Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18 per hour based on a 40 hour work week and is located at 9405 Lanham Severn Road Lanham Seabrook, MD 20706.

• Monday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Tuesday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Wednesday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Friday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found.
• Verify registration is present, current and matches license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or damage.
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance duties include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other daily cleanliness tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must have a satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no DUI or DWI on driving record in the last 3 years), employment reference, education and social security.
• Under 25 minute commute (rush hour traffic) from the location preferred.
• At least six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship for this position now or in the future.
