Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18 per hour based on a 40-hour work week and is located at 9405 Lanham Severn Road Lanham Seabrook, MD 20706.

Schedule:

• Monday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Tuesday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Wednesday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Friday 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
• Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Responsibilities

• Lead exceptional cleaning practices that meet and exceed industry cleanliness and safety standards.
• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry vehicle exteriors.
• Check fuel levels, warning lights, windshield for damage; reset vehicle settings; check for customer items; verify registration.
• Check fluid levels; inspect tire condition, pressure, tread depth; inspect exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles for safety concerns; report issues; pull vehicles from prep if necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools like carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, odors.
• Assist customers as needed, including transportation to/from branches.
• Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors/exteriors of branch locations.
• Site appearance duties: desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness tasks.
• Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Satisfactory background check including driving record (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years, no DUI/DWI in last 3 years), employment references, education, and social security.
• Preferably under 25 minutes commute (rush hour traffic) from location.
• At least six consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.
• At least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without need for future work authorization sponsorship.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories considered as required by applicable law.
