Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $16 / hour based on a 40 hour work week and is located at 160 N. Main Street Brockton, MA 02301.

You will be responsible for washing, cleaning, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and vans, ensuring they meet our high cleanliness and safety standards for customer rentals.

Enterprise Mobility owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands through its integrated global network of independent regional subsidiaries. Enterprise Mobility and its affiliates offer extensive car rental, carsharing, truck rental, fleet management, retail car sales, travel management and other transportation services. The company, privately held by the Taylor family of St. Louis, manages a diverse fleet of 2.4 million vehicles through more than 9,500 locations in over 90 countries and territories.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior, including cars, vans and trucks
• Check fuel level and warning lights
• Inspect windshield for damage
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
• Check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
• Verify registration is present, current and matches license plate
• Check fluid levels and add as needed
• Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
• Fuel and stage vehicle
• Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage
• Remove vehicle from prep processing if necessary
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
• Assist customers when needed and may transport customers to and from branches
• Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors/exteriors of branch locations
• Site appearance includes cleaning desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and miscellaneous daily cleanliness tasks

• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship now or in the future
• Must be at least 18 years old
