Automotive Detailer - Car Washer

About the role

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a full-time Automotive Detailer. This position is located at the Moline Airport, 2200 69TH AVE MOLINE, IL 61265-8317, and pays $17 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, sanitize, inspect, and prepare a variety of vehicles including cars, trucks, and vans.
• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interiors according to industry-standard protocols.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior.
• Check fuel levels and warning lights.
• Inspect windshield for damage.
• Factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data.
• Check for customer items and place valued items in Lost & Found.
• Verify that registration is present, current, and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed.
• Check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth.
• Inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicles.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report warning lights and any damage.
• Pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed and may transport them to/from branches.
• Help maintain site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations.
• Daily cleaning tasks such as desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other maintenance.
• Seek to improve performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on the driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
